Each year Slimming World runs a fundraising campaign called Miles for SMILES to help slimmers find new ways of getting active while raising money for charity at the same time. This year’s national event was led by Ben Miles, son of Slimming World founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell FRSA, OBE, who cycled 6,000km across Europe to raise funds for disadvantaged children. To welcome Ben home on the UK leg of his epic journey Slimming World arranged five ‘Party in the Park’ events where local families could come along for the day and enjoy fun activities like Zumba, Salsa dancing, sponsored walks and penalty shoot outs. For visitors who wanted to find out more about Slimming World’s healthy lifestyle plan, which is suitable for the whole family, we provided an exhibition centre where people could speak to a trained Slimming World Consultant, take away a gift bag of materials and find out where their nearest group was. The exhibition centre was a huge success and attracted lots of visitors at every location.

Just back in the office after an tiring but enjoyable Royal Norfolk Show. The trailer was again very successful and brought a number of favourable comments, so thank you and all at DWT for all your help again this year.
I am more determined than ever that we will have our own trailer for next year's shows. I will therefore be looking for a nice reasonably priced second hand one, similar to the one's we have hired over the past two years, later this year. Can your sales staff let me know if one comes up please.

Thanks so much for your help on the hire of this trailer. The exhibition went really well and more importantly the exhibition stand fit! The client really liked the trailer and is considering using it again for other consultation events. Hopefully now that we’ve done it once it should make it easier for the second time round!
